A spoon was broken and there was much sadness. An old stainless steel serving spoon that hangs very elegantly on a pot rim finally snapped. It had been hanging on literally and figuratively for some time but now it is no more. I cannot manage to find a similar one to replace it. It is just normal large serving spoon but at the bottom of the handle where it connects to the bowl of the spoon there is a little tab. The tab hooks to the edge of a pot perfectly with the spoon handle sticking up and the rest of the spoon in the pot.

You sort have to look really close to see the tab. The only marking on the spoon is "Stainless Steel Japan". I've been on Google image search trying to figure out what this is called but it was a failure.
